As the sun sinks, so the last warm rays of the day turn the pale grey stone to rich gold.

The austere redbrick exterior of Sainte-Cécile d'Albi is relieved by
a delicately-carved flamboyant Gothic portal, executed in pale grey stone
turned to vibrant gold by the setting sun.
